This is a plein air painting of Round Lake, a smaller lake just north of the larger Lake Phelan in Saint Paul MN. Getting outdoors to paint, especially with the pandemic virtually closing off interior gatherings for me has been a great way to relax and also feel a sense of accomplishment.
