Earth/Heaven
Earth/Heaven
acrylic on panel
28"h x 54"w x 10"d

One way that this painting may be seen is as a kind of prehistoric representation of God's good creation when Earth and Heaven are fractured and separated by the familiar sinful actions of the human. But at the same time the painting may also be perceived as a representation of that final future hope, the New Creation, when Earth and Heaven are rejoined by God under the Kingship of Jesus. I hope this painting will lead you in pondering these ideas.
