This plein air painting is from the entryway to Hidden Falls Regional Park in Saint Paul MN, one of my go-to parks for relaxation and watching Mississippi River activity. This peaceful entryway with its cathedral of trees has called to me since the first time I saw it. What a pleasure to be there on a warm sunny July day, just beginning a long holiday weekend. Hope yours was a happy 4th!
