Painted on-site, it was a very hot day, around 100 degrees. There was a kiosk at the top of this hill which offered some shade for me to work and not get fried. The vista was impressive and nicely framed by the foreground trees. Capturing the light was one thing... but the heat, you'll have to imagine.
